When I was 8-9 years old, I remember walking into a corner store on Dyckman to buy some candy and I saw some comic books on the wall, and I was hooked. We're talking about the year 1973, when comics used to cost only 25cents. I chose "The Incredible Hulk" and I was never the same. So, when they finally started announcing they were going to make a movie on the big screen, (not the Bill Bixby, Lou Fuerigno TV episodes) but a real life movie, I was there the first day.

Through the years, I have amassed over 5000 comics, however in my haste to make wall posters at the tender age of 14. I destroyed and lost close to 3000, leaving me with 2000. However, I have read each book at least 3 to 5 times over, and some more than that. I want anyone who has a passion for reading to let me know. I can't take it with me when I'm gone in this world and would be happy to share, donate, or just give away for your enjoyment.. |
