Eva C, also known as Tanty Eva to the family is the last of the “Big 6.”  The Big Six consisted of her siblings, Marcus, Alexander, Pauline, Gertrude, and James.  You could be guaranteed that every year, a family reunion was on the way as Tanty Eva and the others kept the family lineage in place, and this have allowed me to go back over 148 years to look up family information.    Tanty is renowned by the Brooklyn community as an outstanding resident for over 58 years at the same address, and had an exclusive write up in Crane, The New York Times, and rent Stabilization Newspaper. This last stage of her celebrity status came out of an infamous case with a tenant who did not pay rent for over 8 years. She was also a famous designer and business woman with many designs under her belt.  She just celebrated her 80th birthday with her grands, friends, and associates of the family in attendance. Truly a great and funny woman who can have you laughing with her warm smile. We love you Tanty.
